How the Admin Center works
Getting started
- Add your staff and pick the guides they need, with a due date.
- They get an email and study free in the Cert to Table app.
- Check Needs attention on the Staff page and tap Remind for anyone behind.
- Print training records from Records whenever an inspector asks.
What the words mean
Each person shows one word on the Staff page: the most urgent one that applies, in this order.
- Late
- A guide's due date has passed and it isn't finished.
- Expired
- A certificate's expiry date has passed.
- Stalled
- No studying for 7 days or more, with guides left to finish. Someone who just joined is not stalled yet.
- Due soon
- A guide is due within 7 days.
- Expiring soon
- A certificate expires within 60 days.
- Not started
- Invited, waiting for your approval, or joined but hasn't opened a lesson, taken an exam or studied yet.
- On track
- Studying, with nothing late, stalled or due soon.
- Ready or certified
- Every guide assigned to them is Ready, or has a certificate on file.
On each guide you may also see:
- Exam ready
- Shown on one guide: they have passed at least one practice exam in the app, by that exam's own pass mark. This is not the same as Ready below, which also needs every lesson.
- Certified
- A certificate is on file for the guide. That finishes it, whatever the lessons say.
- Certificate on file, no guide assigned
- You recorded a certificate for something you have not assigned as a guide.
How progress works
The bar is the share of lessons finished in the app. Last exam is the score on their latest practice exam.
Each guide also has a level:
- Not started
- No lessons and no practice exam yet.
- Studying
- Has started, and is not yet close.
- Almost ready
- 80% or more of the lessons done, or has passed a practice exam, or scored 70% or more on the last one.
- Ready
- Every lesson done and a practice exam passed.
Why Ready needs both. Reading every lesson without testing, or passing one exam after skipping most of the material, both gave owners a false green light in testing. Ready means they have done the work and shown it.
How to
Add someone and pick guides
Tap Add staff on the Staff page. Enter a name and email, choose the guides they need and a due date. They get an email with how to join.
